Do you recycle old paint?
Yes, we can recycle old paint cans as long as they have the original label on them and are still in liquid form. If the paint has dried completely, it can be thrown out in your normal residential trash. We limit recycling to 5 gallons per person per day to not overwhelm our space. A list of accepted products can be found here.
Do you fill propane tanks?
We offer a propane exchange program, where you can bring us your empty tank and exchange it for a full tank. Never bring propane tanks inside the store for an exchange. Pay for the tank at any register, then an employee will exchange tanks for you at the cages in our back parking lot.

How do I get rid of the odor in my dishwasher?
Vinegar is typically a great tool to use in order to get rid of odors from grease, mildew, and old detergent build up. Fill up a cup or bowl with about a cup of vinegar and place it on the top rack of the dishwasher. Run it on a single cycle with the hottest setting, then open the door to let it air dry once the cycle is complete. You can also add a couple drops of essential oils to the vinegar if you don’t like the smell of vinegar.
How do I clean my stainless-steel appliance?
Always check with the manufacturer of your product first. We recommend using a stainless-steel cleaner and wiping it clean with a microfiber cloth. You can also use hot soapy water.
Should I choose gas or electric appliances?
Choosing between gas or electric appliances is mostly based on preference. However, make sure to check that you have the capabilities either way. Gas appliances require a connection to LP (propane) or natural gas. Electric ranges and dryers require a 220v outlet. Depending on where you live, gas appliances can be cheaper in terms of utility cost. Electric appliances typically offer more precise temperature control than gas, however gas ovens may cook more evenly. In terms of cost, gas appliances are usually a bit cheaper. Dual-fuel ranges offer the combination of a gas cooking surface and electric oven.
