Feature and Product Videos

Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

The manufacturer's parts and labor warranty is typically for only 1 year but for as little as $110 for an appliance with a purchase price of under $500, you can have peace of mind for a total of five years. Kitchen package appliance coverage plans are available if you wish to protect multiple appliances at the time of purchase.

Did you know that the average cost for a service company to come to your home and diagnose an out-of-warranty appliance problem is $100.00. Once the problem is determined, there is the additional expense for parts and labor to resolve it. Appliance repairs can range between $150 and $500.

If you are concerned about spending money on a service contract you will never need, our New Leaf ServicePro extended service plans will refund 50% of the service contract purchase price to you if no covered appliances have service calls during the extended warranty coverage period. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

I'm Cookin Again

Thom Boglino 12/19/2024

I installed my cooktop a few days ago but before I selected this model I read up on the product and many of the reviews. While some reviews had good information to offer about performance some users were disappointed about missing features and cleaning issues. I will say this about the features. Electrolux has two nearly identical 36" Professional Series cooktops FPGC3677RS & PCCG3680AS. FP is the older model. It has metal knobs and comes with the double sided griddle/grill. PC is newer and has illuminated plastic knobs, a gold accented center burner, but no griddle. I prefer, and chose, the older model mainly because of the knobs. They were metal, and the setting indicator (Low-High) is part of the knob. The PC version not only had plastic knobs but the status was etched on the cooktop. That etching will eventually come off from frequent cleaning. Another difference is the cast iron grates on both models are enameled but the orientation is different where the fins on "PC" run horizontal and "FP" runs vertical. Another thing is the depth. While both are 21.5 x 36 the depth on the FP is 4.25" and the newer PC is only 2.75" Now since I was replacing my gas cooktop from a Thanksgiving day tragedy, that 4.25" depth was a problem for my old KitchenAid was not that deep so I had some cutting to do which created some dust and cost me a lobster dinner as my wife was not happy with the mess I made. Cleaning Cast iron and stainless steel. So reviews were about difficulty cleaning the stainless steel and grates that they were not cleaning friendly. Lets see if I can help. The cast iron grates come from the factory protected from rust and are dishwasher safe but they are rough to the touch. If you were to wash and dry them with a dish towel lint would attach itself to the grates and will not come off easily. The same goes for the griddle. The solution is to season them. A-lot. Use any method and oil you wish but this must be done 3-5 times. While there are many videos about how and what to do, I will offer these tips. Use any oil you want. Just know its smoke point and set your oven temp to that setting. Bake them for 45-90 minutes, allow to cool, then repeat. I used olive oil then baked for 60 minutes at 400F. Being that the grates are so rough you cannot apply the oil with a paper towel. I used a rubber brush and my fingers to apply the thinnest coat as possible. It took a long time to cover all 3 grates at 100% and the griddle too. The rubber bumper pads on the grates are heat proof so they will not become damaged from the high temp in the oven. Amazon sells them by the dozen for just a few bucks. Don't put grates in the dish washer unless you want to season them all over again. Simply wash them with hot water and mild dish soap. Depending on how much you use your cooktop you can simply season them one time, every month. That will keep them looking even new and even colored. Unlike the Gallery series, the Professional series stainless steel can be cleaned with a blue scouring pad, bar keepers friend, or any other stainless steel cleaners. If these tools and supplies don't remove undesirable marks from your cooktop take some time to read and watch videos first. You want to be cautious about what chemicals you use as some, if not used properly, will alter the metal permanently. I made a pot of home made soup which made a moderate mess of spatters and spills from transferring the broth and removing the cooked chicken. I did not clean the stove till the next day. I used dish soap on a sponge and the included cleaner. The thing looks brand new.The "Grey" burners. (Where the flame comes out) are not protected or treated so they will get stained and for the most part, some stains will not come off easily so they will remain that way. Fortunately, you can use stronger cleaners and tools to remove the stains but you will need to remove them from the cooktop first. It's just a pair of screws holding each one in place. After my soup was finished I noticed grease spot stains on the center burner. I started with a blue pad then switched to a soapy Brillo pad. After a minute the spots were completely gone. The burner caps that lay on top of the burners are treated and while they are out of direct contact with spills they will, over time, discolor. They are also dishwasher safe but while the abrasive soap and the hot water will clean the caps the process may not remove the stains and can make them look worse so be prepared. I used to paint my old cooktops burner caps with "satin black" hi-temp spray paint once a year. Cooking, Performance. A read that a few experienced the flame blowing out. The documentation included with the cooktop addresses this issue. In my opinion the installer should have tested and made the necessary adjustments but I also understand that new home builds may have obstacles that prevent the installer from testing the flames output. Regardless, there is an adjustment underneath the burner knob. It requires a thin blade screwdriver. It is easy to do and takes just a few minutes. I have had the cooktop just a few days and being that it is Christmas time I have done a good deal of cooking. I can happily say that everything works as expected. I can boil, simmer, and sear just like I did with my old cooktop. I did notice a feature on this cooktop that was not on my old unit. A burner with a smaller burner within it. Its meant to allow you to boil then simmer without having to slide the pot to another burner. While I can appreciate this it comes at a price and I don't mean money. The flame on this burner can be lower so much that it can no longer be seen. Meaning the flame is under the burner cap hidden from view. Only the knob lets you know a burner is still on. In a busy kitchen you may accidentally forget to turn it off. I also experienced no real benefit if, after my whole chicken was boiling, adjusting to the lowest setting as it was too low and the water stopped bubbling and was no longer cooking. I readjusted until the outer burner was just barely lit until the soup started bubbling again. Aside from that the unit is great. The massive grates and the high profile make it look like you are serious about your cooking. If your hooking this up yourself the regulator is 1/2" on the input and 3/8" on the output. The cooktop is fitted with a male 3/8" nipple.

Center burner explodes.

fire hazzard in DE 10/7/2024

Purchased this unit and it was installed in July. Center burner explodes when transitioning from simmer burner to larger outer ring burner. Other burners not low enough to simmer. Vendor who sold it to us has been out 3 time to no avail. Frigidaire sent a rep and the unit literally blew up in his face. Still no progress. They want to send another repair person. Totally unsafe and one of the worse customer experiences I have ever had. No one seems to care this thing is exploding in my house. I have to call then for followup...... FYI we use propane.

Hate cooktop 6/7/2024

I will never purchase any Frigidaire product again. Purchased a stainless steel gas cooktop. After I installed it. Boy was I sorry. The stainless steel marks up without even getting anything more than a drop of ladder on it. A spot that does not come off. The grates are rough and do not clean. I don't know who designed this product but I will never purchase any Frigidaire product again. All customer service said was well. You should have read the reviews. They take no responsibility for the piece of crap that they created.

Cooks ok, low (level 1 or 2) flame goes out on small burners when exhaust fan is turned on or if strong wind blows thru open door. I think it takes longer to cook than electric for same size & type of container.

love this cooktop. should be 5-star

sccot 9/18/2023

This is a beautiful cooktop with a very hot center burner. Great for boiling large pots of water or stir frying. I just use common sense for the application. I choose burner by what size pan I am using. And adjust the heat for the purpose. I use good cookware (All-Clad, & cast iron). so far I have not needed to set the heat any higher than third dot from low. One observation I will make has to do with the heat conduction from the thin cast iron grates. Since there is not enough mass to cool when used, the front of the cook top will get warm/hot. Just keep in mind when using and not get alarmed if you rest your hand on the surface. The grates do have small rubber pads installed to lift grates slightly. If pads get damaged or lost, replacing with cut silicone would work. .Installation.I had no real issues with the install other than having to purchase a 5/8 male adaptor for the pressure regulator output line. I did not need any special tools. Just Pipe thread tape and a wrenchCleaning. The stainless top is a bit tricky to keep clean, but again common sense will dictate that if you use this regularly, it will require some elbow grease. Follow the recommended cleaner "Bar Keepers Friend". I also recommend pre-seasoning the grates like any cast iron cookware. The biggest issue for me is where to place the grates as I am cleaning the burner area.Overall Bang for Buck. This was an upgrade from a 23yr old Jen-air cook top. Well worth the price paid. Also the seller kept me in the loop for questions including assisting me with solving an issue that I had with one of the parts that was damaged from shipping. (The issue was not a functional issue). However, I have been informed that the replacement is on back order with no ETA. A little concerning. But I was able to splint the broken grate using a steel hose-clamp. Would be 5-star if it were not for the back order with no ETA. Functionally I Love this cooktop. Have a nice day. God Bless.Scot

After a kitchen remodel this was one of the biggest decisions we made. It has been better than great. Spacious, super easy to clean and works perfectly. Poor design, knobs turn too easily

LisaA2021 2/24/2023

We have had this product for almost two years. During that time, we've had to have it serviced twice due to the igniters getting clogged. Our biggest complaint though is how easily the knobs turn and starts the gas flowing. We have accidently bumped a knob and unknowingly started the gas flowing several times. We only discovered that this had happened when we started smelling the gas. Recently we left our dogs unattended in the house as we often do and came back home to find the stove on with the ingniter clicking! Our dog had jumped up to check out a bowl we had left on the back of the stove and turned it on! Luckily, she did ignite the stove so the house didn't fill with gas. This could have been a disaster with either the house burning down or exploding. I contacted the customer service chat and was told to buy child-proof knob covers which I will do right away. I do feel like this problem is a design flaw and a lock needs to be added to the cooktop to prevent things like this happening. The cooktop works well most of the time but I would not purchase it again.
